MSC is seeking someone willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, a Project Manager who is results driven and with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
The Project Manager will oversee projects for our clients and will serve as the primary company representative responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. PM will direct and supervise activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable and safe manner.

Works closely with all project staff, including project superintendent(s).
Management of project budget estimates.
Manages project's budget and coordinates any changes with the owner.
Manages the contracting process, which includes holding initial scope review meetings.
Coordinates and leads a pre-construction meeting with all team members to finalize scope as well as a responsibility matrix for all construction tasks.
Collaborates with owner, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to create a construction schedule.
Develops an organizational and responsibilities matrix at the start of each project and determines the resources needed for the project (e.g., labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors), throughout the project.
Reviews the contract documents with all project participants (e.g., subcontractors, suppliers, government regulators, utilities) to ensure quality work is completed on time and within budget.
Coordinates all contract requirements for CMS, Inc., subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project schedules, project administration, operations and close-out.
Builds maintain and monitors the project schedule, milestone dates, and close-out.
Establishes relationships and communication tools as needed with owners, subcontractors and suppliers and other key parties so that all participants understand performance standards and specifications.
Builds effective relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet or exceed the owner’s expectations.
Serves as a role model and promotes professional behavior.
Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others, while maintaining effective relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their requirements and expectations.
Manages essential functions effectively by consistently driving for quality, profitable, safe, and timely results on the assigned project.
Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written skills.
Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and is a competent user of HCSS, Cost accounting software, MS Office etc., and Sage / Project Management software.
Directly supervises one to eight employees involved in each project. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 50+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather, and emergencies at the job site.
The employee may travel extensively when the construction site is not close to the main office or when responsible for activities at two or more sites.
Required Education and Experience
BS Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum of five years related experience
Preferred Education and Experience
B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
10 years of experience. Depending on the project size, scope, and complexity, the years of experience may vary.

ROLE OVERVIEW Our product engineers are tasked with delivering design-driven concepts to market that are durable and meet all of M&D’s safety and performance requirements.
Partner with the design and development engineering teams, from earliest points in the NPD process, to ensure applicable elements of safety, reliability and performance are identified and able to be incorporated in the final designs.
Support enhancement and development of NPD processes to make the inclusion of quality engineering standards and assessments a natural part of the process, with the right input at the right time.
Evaluate products, and in concurrence with development engineering, document and outline risks, changes and modifications necessary to ensure the M&D level of product compliance is achieved.
Work on establishing the uniform use of standardized tools and applications across our teams and key supplier bases as appropriate.
Support M&D’s continuous product and process improvement programs
Suggest/promote new technologies to help expand the play and categories of M&D product
Generate product technical files.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Product Quality Engineering in the consumer products industry, preferably the toy industry. Toy industry experience preferred consumer products industry experience a must.
Hands-on problem solver with strong skills in learning and using tools like Solidworks, and others.
Experience working with mixed materials (plastics, wood, metal, textile), hard and soft goods, and the integration of these materials (electronics knowledge a plus)
Experience with tool/mold design
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail.
